Chicago from 94 floors up is a vantage point that changes your perspective on the city. I get lost in the city. The hustle often leaves me feeling alone + vulnerable. I much prefer the rhythm of nature over that of a city. But a good vantage point like this one allows me to rise above the chaos + reminds me that while many things may try to divide us, the very idea that we are all on a journey of becoming who we are created to be can unite us. If we let it. And so, for week eight of #100daysofphotostofibers, I drew inspiration from this photo I took + set out to create a macraweave that captures the vastness of the architecture + natural beauty of Chicago from 94 floors up.
