Beacons From the Water — Woven Tapestry
I have called a lot of places home, but I still pinch myself that one of those places was walking distance to Beacons Beach. So, for week nine of #100daysofphotostofibers, I drew inspiration from this photo I took of the bluffs from the water.
I set out to create a weave using a painting with fiber technique, combining multiple textures + hues of aqua, seafoam, turquoise + mint. Incorporating indie-dyed yarn, wool, recycled cotton + chiffon, this weave is bursting with details.
